The Touch

One tender touch
Flesh burning against flesh
Thoughts fly, time ceases
Thousands of tingles with every tip of the finger
climb feverishly up my spine
Only you...isolated
In time, in my mind
With every slight movement the earth shakes...
and I know we are one.

My Friend

A wonderful friend:
stable shoulder, sponge for my tears
granite hand for me to squeeze
book for me to pour out my fears

I met you through my beloved,
you, relative of a good friend
No other man should I covet...but

I treasure the words you say
Despite all, my very dear friend
You tempt feelings I try to keep at bay...

Solemn solitude of the seas

Standing in front, king of the ocean;
Sails full-blown
Salt in the mouth, wind in the hair;
Solemn solitude of the seas

Miles out sleek water lies: untouched
Miles behind white water tosses: conquered
Water on wood, night's lullaby.
Excited shrill squawks, morning's call.

Time stands still and destination forgotten.
Just rhythmic rolling slowly side to side.
Salt in the mouth, wind in the hair.
Solemn solitude of the seas.

S e p a r a t i o n
It has turned Autumn for us:
Every wilted leaf separates from life's source
and lands with a heavy heart.
The painful divorce,
tears us apart.

Once green growth makes way for new life. Love.
Heart-wrenching realisation of the end...
I plead a desperate prayer to my God
a soft comforting breeze could he send...

to escourt me down
to soften the blow of the

Cold
Hard
Ground.

I am the leaf that flitters in the wind
that scuttles with every burst
and swirls with every blow.
I am the leaf that soars in the gale
that floats on the breeze
I offer sacrifices to the Gods
I send prayers to the heavens
I spill tears on the earth:
to free me from this

Every time that I close my eyes
I see your face, engraved on mine.
The slow smile that creeps on your face
how can I forget, never can forget.

Your voice, a gramophone, spinning
Timeless tunes in my head, my heart.
Your soft curls, swept over your brow.
Your soft lips, brushing mine, driving me wild.

Fingers caressing my neck, shivers prickling my back.
I lie in your arms and you keep me
From falling and shattering.
Never will I forget, I can?t forget.

Everytime I open my eyes I hear your voice, I feel your touch
I see your face

Bad that lies within the good
Oh, Daughter thou have yet to learn
What a tainted world we occupy.
I see how virtue in thee burn
And how strongly thou evil defy.

Every rose has its thorn,
Every pure, pitch soiling its white.
Goodness rising with the dawn
Will always set with the coming night.

Surging through thou veins, the yearn
Of passions determined to try,
Thou innocent virtues overturn.
Battling past the day thou die.

Oh, Ye shall begin to morn,
The day thou realise, this fight
Began moons before you born:
Life-long struggle between wrong and right.

The RACE
My mind no longer controls each stride
1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2
Each foot on their own mission driven by
Determination, motivation, determination, motivation
And so have my arms; swaying at my sides
1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2
My heart rhythmically pounds in
my chest, my head, my chest, my head
Sweat droplets form on my brow and down my face go
Racing and charging, racing and storming
I have become deaf to the world outside
Except the sounds of my deep gasping
Air rushing in and out
1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2
And striving thoughts encompass my mind
Cannot stop, have to keep going
Have to keep going, have to push
Have to push, have to go faster faster FASTER

I WANT
I want to hold your heart in my hand
I want to watch it beat: movement of life
I want to STAB
STAB
STAB it
I want to freeze all its beats
I want to destroy everything
I want your existence to cease
So that you may NEVER
NEVER
NEVER
Hold MY heart in your hands and torture it, again.

You:
-the china bowl that held my soul
from which I would serve
my infinite love,
my boundless dreams
my very existence
-the china bowl I shattered
your loveless words,
your false actions
your mask you wear
-the shrapnel slicing
piercing
shredding me
